2 Intangible assets

The carrying amount of intangible assets comprises goodwill on the acquisition of the Erber Group in 2020 (€423 million), Crina in 2006 (€9 million) and Pentapharm in 2007 (€32 million). The disposal of subsidiaries relates to the goodwill on NeoResins (€358 million), that was derecognized as part of the divestment of the Resins & Functional Materials (together ‘RFM’) and associated businesses, see Note 3 Change in the scope of the consolidation to the 'Consolidated financial statements’.
